Ava Community Center

The community center is involved in many things. Its focus is to provide service to the community with an emphasis on the senior citizens.

The following services are offered to senior citizens who are eligible:

  • Home Cleaning
  • Home-Delivered Meals
  • Lunch served at the Ava Community Center..(From 11:30-12:00, Mon.-Fri.)
  • Blood Pressure Readings..(typically 10-12 on Fridays)
  • Transportation
  • Entertainment & Recreation
Services open to all of the public:
  • Social Security office..(1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month)
  • License Bureau office..(Thursdays in the basement...i.e. driver's license, etc.)
