Ozark Action is an organization focused on helping people in our community and its surrounding areas. It helps individuals and families better their lives and conditions. Ozark Action has enacted many, many programs to benefit a large number of people.
The following are just a few of the many programs available (all of the programs are subject to income eligibility):
- JTPA (Job Training)
- Weatherization
- Hud Housing
- Case Management (Becoming Self-Sufficient)
- Emergency Utility Assistance
- Emergency Food Pantry
- Various Workshops
An Explanation of the Workshops...
A cycle of workshops begin every October 1st, and last throughout the year. These workshops also have certain requirements to attend. These workshops are also to improve yourself and your condition. The subjects of these workshops include, Budgeting, Nutrition, Parenting, Time and Stress Management, to name a few.
